Aberdeen House brings Africa to the world

With the 2010 World Cup, Aberdeen House have been busy delivering news coverage, studio presentation and daily round-ups on behalf of a host of worldwide broadcasters.
From three main locations in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, Aberdeen House has already provided first-class broadcast facilities to no fewer than 30 individual broadcasters from every continent of the world.

 

Aberdeen House operate 31 days during the Tournament. At the opening day on June 11th saw Aberdeen House handle a total of 52 bookings across all three locations.

Durban          @ Moses Mabhida Stadium

At the Final on July 11th we handle several bookings in front of soccer city stadium. We running 1 HD Studio and 2 Stand Up Positions at the same time.   

 

With 2 three camera HD studio and HD stand-up locations, all with iconic stadium backdrops, broadcasters have everything at their disposal to produce quality live programming.
In addition to the permanent studio and stand up locations Aberdeen House have also being using a roving uplink unit that has covered many of the key locations such as:

  • Ellis Park
  • Nelspruit
  • Bloemfontein
  • Pretoria
